“We can’t say enough wonderful things about Barb and Laurie. We asked our entire group to travel for our wedding so we wanted the experience to truly be one-of-a-kind. Occasional Notes was absolutely the icing on the cake. Right from the start Barb and Laurie were a pleasure to work with. Meeting with me in short time to do music demo’s the day I was traveling back to Ontario. I knew instantly that their style was PERFECT for our big day and they worked with our 1930’s theme to coordinate our music to fit to a tea! Day of the wedding they were fantastic. With a quick flip from outdoor to indoor ceremony, on account of some unexpected rain, they were quick to adapt and make it work. They even offered to stay to accommodate the downtime due to the setup delay. To top it all off, they were able to purchase, learn and play our very unusual first dance song live to go with our Tango - and it was better than we could have ever imagined.

If the Shoe Fits - The reviews!
“This play is a must-see for women of all stages of life — from single and young working women, to new mothers, to grandmothers, and everything in between. The compassionate and very relatable humour that rings surprisingly too true is what makes it hilarious. And the music! The music is moving and strikes right to the heart. If The Shoe Fits reminds us all that women are so very wonderfully made. For the guys, it is a light-hearted but very real look at what makes women tick and how their hearts work. “If the Shoe Fits” is a fabulous production for ladies of all ages. There were 5 of us ladies that attended this production . At some point ,we all seen a piece of ourselves and a view of our life or our friends lives at different ages. You will laugh and cry and cheer these women on. If the Shoe Fits holds a tremendous message for woman of all ages. Women supporting women though the test of time. My group agrees that when If The Shoe Fits comes around again we all will be taking our daughters and granddaughters and daughter in laws.
